Also, there's the Celestion Vintage 8, or Weber P8Q

The V8 is more money, but rated at 60W. I put one of these in a little 35W Tokai "practice" amp and now I gig with it quite regularly when I want to travel super-light. People are always stunned by the loudness of this tiny amp and I think the speaker is a big part of that.

For a slightly more up-market Weber, I got a P8Q in my 6W Vibro Champ, and while I don't think it's quite as strong as the Celestion (rated at 15W I think?), it's got a great sound that really seems to bring out the best of what the VC has to offer.

Does remind me of a crazy idea I had. Time for a new topic...
