Hi,
Snooks in that video is playing a chord progression you'll also hear in Ray Charles' recordings a lot:

Caug, F, A7, Dm, Dm7, Cm7, F13, Bb, Bdim, F, D7, G7, C, F, C7(or in his case he plays a riff here). That's the basic chords to the first section. He plays many of the roots with his thumb on the 6th or 5th string, and often walks the bass notes in between the chord roots (like Ray does on piano). Good luck, I hope this helped!
