ya jacknife, i will have to try that one out. i have spent a lot of time like you on voice
4 & 1, (2&5)...and it never gets old. there is a wide array of tones to play with, especially with amp volume, gtr. volume, gain, treb, and bass. cranking up the treb and bass, or toning them down makes a huge difference. Friday I got a brand new *mint*
mxr carbon copy, and all I can say is WOW! (got it off craigslist for $80 and I am elated). anyway, it allows me to hang on my fav. blackface and tweed voices, and stay on the beloved spring reverb, but now with that pedal my tone is on this new elevated level. I have never played through such a great delay pedal, and it allows me to get warm slap back, all the way to the perfect wild repeats. It kinda enhances your tone. This amp takes pedals really well. I mostly stay on 4 & 1, with spring reverb, and use my cry baby, tube screamer, phaser, and carbon copy. Never had so much fun playing!!! (now i keep thinking about getting a new speaker, thanks fellas, lol)
