Taking the cover off the neck pickup, and installing a 4-way switch is a cheap and easy mod, that may get you what you need. If not, maybe try an A3 Strat pickup from a CV '50's Strat.
And if yours is as well put together as mine, I'd have no qualms about spending $300 to upgrade the pickups, if that's what you really want to do.
