While I enjoy the natural relic look, I still take care of my gear. i would rather have my 30 - 40 year old guitars look like they are well cared for rather than a beat to ****e relic. I agree with Don, the same dent's don't happen over and over again in the same spots on guitars. The belt sanders need to go bye bye...and every relic'd neck I see has the same pattern of wear. Oh well, to each his own. A slight relic looks cool, but some of these extreme ones...come on! The shops that relic need to be like those sound effects guys for the movies that have the huge kits to make different daily sounds.
