Ah the speculation :) Sorry I never got back to this thread....I'm a perfectionist, and am in the middle of reproducing tele #2650 - right down to the exact-spec Seymour Duncan pups being made for me, laquer/wind/laquer/plate/$$$ etc. Yeah, this stuff is very expensive. I HAVE TO DO IT NOW.... I HAVE BECOME OBSSESSED with this project. I imagine there are more than a few here like me.... God save you all! lol
