The one aspect of b-bending culture which I don't understand is why it is almost exclusively retrospective, that is, looking back to Gene Parsons and Clarence White, its pioneers, and not to the next designs/refinements, like Dave Evans' improvements (per Silverface), the Glaser/McVay et al saddle benders, and new players. Who are they and where are they?
