imo - mostly, as guided by yer brain and fingers, the tone is in the pickups and wiring, not the wood or the hardware.

Two P-Rails with dual push/pull 500k pots and now 0.047mf cap(used to be 0.022mf but i didnt help) and a lousy three way switch from the saga kit(which is the only thing in the electronics that is of poor quality, but nobody seems to think the problem could lay there).
