My suggestion is to sit down with a Blueridge and compare it to whatever you want.
IT will sit with good Martins(D-18,D-28,etc) and Gibsons. This is something that , inexpensive Martins,TAylors or most other gutiars will not do acoustically. I like SEaguls as inexpensive gutars, but they don't do what a Blueridge can do sonically, to me ear.
