Ill try to do it some justice.

Freezing in perth at the moment. I wonder how spraying nitro is going to go later.

Shame your not in the challenge this year. I always like watching your builds.

Haha, your "freezing in Perth" is probably not quite as incondusive to guitarbuilding as "freezing in Wellington" is.

Theres a guitar in here somewhere.

Thinking of trying binding. 2 colours to choose from.

Started to get my thoughts on paper. Bit of a list of whats needed. You can probably spot the booklet from mr kirn.

Cheers

Try the binding. You'll learn a lot. That lemon myrtle is breathtaking.

Thanks Phil

Hopefully it wont end up a solid colour

Time to test out my new jointer. I bought this a few months after last years challenge with plans to make some more guitars. Life got busy and a year later im getting to test it.

Set the fence to be square.

I ran front side through and then flipped the other piece so the back was facing the fence. That way if the fence is slightly out it wont matter.

Did the glue up

I think there is a knack for using the planer. Was unsure to press down or against the fence. I think the join is good just not perfect.

Start neck tomorrow

Cheers

Thanks. Never been accused of that before.

3 stages of organisation in a build.

Organised
Organised chaos
Then it's just chaos
