Into the high Pyrenees (spoiler content added)
So, todays stage, the riders are taking on the Tourmalet!
I think if Cadel has any hope, any glimmer at all he HAS to make a move over this stage....Same goes for anyone else with any hopes of snatching the GC lead...should be exciting, I hope...

Cadel will have to throw out the tacks today... ooops.. I mean throw out an attack and try Wiggins on again today... if he's got anything left...
poor bloke... I'll bet he wishes he was on a sunny beach fishing about now .. and never seen a bike before.. or a mountain in France....

Live coverage may be worse this year. I'll agree that apart form the crashes, it hasn't been a very eventful Tour. A few good sprintsn - that's about it. We do have a new doping charge today though to liven things up. Cheers, Geoff

I'll be honest: I liked the stages in the Vosges and the Juras a lot more than the "big" mountain stages. It was nice to see some new hills, and the outcome wasn't a done deal yet. Sky hadn't yet decided to tack/nail it down.
Cadel's gone this year; even he knows it. Go Tejay! Two worthy wins by the mercurial Voeckler, though, and not a heart-rate monitor in sight. Three cheers for the old school.

Jens has always been one of my favorites, though I can't tell whether that's because I really like him or because the Sherwen-Liggett mafia has just bludgeoned me into acceptance over the years...
