Just a sketch ![]() front and back of laminated beech with mahogany veneer glued on it. A core out of something else, also the few points where it is important to have some extra support for the two wings. s. |

I always draw 2 lines before I cut out any contours ... ![]() Cut out top and back: ![]() Detail of a +/- outline for the core pieces: ![]() Sandwich for the core: - 6mm laminated beech - 1,2mm mahogany - 10mm laminated beech - 1,2mm mahogany - 6mm laminated beech ![]() Ad glue and pressure: ![]() s. |

I started doing this with a top and a back for an acoustic guitar: but only the outer line, just to be sure it is always big enough.
And now ... It does not take more time, so with 2 lines I cut in the middle I think it is just a little autistic tick I have. That's why I like watching little shop tours on You tube: You will notice you're not the only one with those ticks s. |
