Et voila !!!

- Laminated beech and mahogany veneer for the body.
- Light weight flamed maple for neck.
- Wengé for fretboard.
- Tuners I already had.
- Home brewed pups.

Thanks.
Just a sketch

front and back of laminated beech with mahogany veneer glued on it.
A core out of something else, also the few points where it is important to have some extra support for the two wings.

I think it is going to be something like this ...
Next week a normal scale layout.

Did I mention a multi scale neck?

And we're on...

I always draw 2 lines before I cut out any contours ...

Cut out top and back:

Detail of a +/- outline for the core pieces:

Sandwich for the core:
- 6mm laminated beech
- 1,2mm mahogany
- 10mm laminated beech
- 1,2mm mahogany
- 6mm laminated beech

Ad glue and pressure:

I started doing this with a top and a back for an acoustic guitar: but only the outer line, just to be sure it is always big enough.

And now ... It does not take more time, so with 2 lines I cut in the middle
I think it is just a little autistic tick I have.
That's why I like watching little shop tours on You tube: You will notice you're not the only one with those ticks
