Thanks for this subforum!

I know this isn't directly related to the TdF but I just wanted to thank whoever created this subforum! My passion other than telecasters/guitar/music is cycling. Although I don't race anymore, I still love getting out on the bike. Unfortunately I am living away from home this semester in a small town that doesn't offer the vs. network. Anyone have any advice of where I can get a broadcast of the tour (possibly free)? Thanks again!

Hey Nick - Check this site:

http://www.cyclingfans.com

Cyclingfans carries links to TdeF transmissions (video and audio) on the net. Check just before the start of each stage and get the most up-to-date links.
Most links are free.

Tour thread..

Ok, I am offically posting here instead of Bad Dog Cafe. To be clear--it is ok to play your Tele while watching the tour. Just don't plug it into your amp.

Is Sastre going to die in the time trials?

Do you get Versus TV? They are carrying it here in the U.S.

www.versus.com/tdf/

I think they are going to do some webcasts, too.

Does Paul do this every year sub-thread wise...

I was not active here last few years during TDF time [or otherwise]

I think this is the first year. I bet it won't be the last.

This is the 3rd year I've done this. My wife and I got hooked on watching the le Tour 4 years ago and I started doing this the year after that first year.

We watch every day, and generally don't miss a day. It's on VS 4 or 5 times a day but we only watch the 7pm show when they do the big production show. We Tivo it so that we don't miss any.

I have to be careful to not read spoiler threads posted before the 7 pm show comes on so that I don't know who won before hand.
