I bought a sunburst Bullet Strat for my stepson last Xmas. I thought it played great and sounded great too, but I had to do a set-up, as the intonation was WAY off. Now it can be tuned and it stays in tune pretty well, but I am contemplating a tuner upgrade.

I think the PUs sound good so I'm not rushing to swap them out, and in fact, I'm a bit surprised how many people rush to do that. But I guess when you have the modding bug, you just feel an irresistible urge to change things.

I'll do some A/B-ing of the Bullet vs a MIA Strat before I'm convinced I need to do a PU change.

And I know I've posted this elsewhere, but I think it's supremely lame to replace the Squier decal with a Fender one. Modding is one thing, being deceitful is another.
