A 12" speaker won't fit in the stock SCXD cabinet.
There is a cabinet maker that makes a replacement SCXD cabinet designed for a 12" speaker, and he'll cover it in any type Tolex you want, with any type grille cloth you want. I see his cabinets (and converted SCXD amps in his cabinets) pop up on eBay, and at various forums. He does EXCELLENT work.
