One negative about the Deluxe is that its sound, while classic, has been beaten to death. I also don't particularly care for reverb, so its absence on the Vibro would not be an issue for me.
I have a brown Vibrolux on the way. It seems like there are some good deals to be had on Vibroluxes right now. I got mine for under $1500 and one recently sold on eBay for less than $1200.
