I have the regular set in one tele and the neck in combo with another bridge PU in another tele. What I like about the regular Area T bridge PU is that when you turn the tone down, it gives you a very useable darker sound (rather than mud). I haven't tried the "hot" version yet but probably will eventually.
The Area T neck has a bit of a growl to it, which I like as well.
