I know guys like to show off their parts-guitars in a lot of ways, such as lowest-cost, but this is similar to my parts-Teles in that all the parts are exactly what I wanted, regardless of price.
It's an '09 MIM Jazz maple/maple neck (love the tint) with an '09 CAR MIM Precision body, HipShot HB-7 tuners, '51 RI bridge, AllParts pickguard, CTS pots, Switchcraft jack and SD quarter-pounder. It plays pretty great already, maybe because of the set-up, and should get better as it breaks in. All hardware from Darren Riley, body, neck and pg from e-bay and tuners from Best Bass Gear. My friend Vinny gave me the pickup, but that might be subject to change.
