I just re-read the Vox Amplug web page. Some of the Amplugs are modeled on US amps, high-gain amps, etc. So you have more choice than just buying Vox amp sounds.

I've got the classic AC30 and it nails that sound. Search for sound clips and see if that or one of the other models is what you're looking for.

In any event, it's an excellent low-cost solution to recording a guaranteed beautiful tone first time/every time you lay down a guitar part.
