Sheraton owner here-
Great guitar. While most will immediately (and correctly) say- you could not be more different than a tele, there's something there that they share- an old-school vibe- down to basics (sort of) feeling.

(Really, in detail they could not be more different- humbuckers/single coil; set neck/bolt on; ornate decoration/looks good beat up; semi-hollow archtop/solid flat plank.)

Your $400 will get you a nice sheraton, likely from ebay or craigslist. They play very differently, but have their distinctive allure. I don't play mine enough, but realize I can't part with it every time I do.
