As for our comparative heights, for more than 36 years Beth and I have joked that I'm 5'10" and she's 5'12" (
). The even funnier part of our "Mutt and Jeff" (anybody remember that one?
) appearance is that the difference is in the legs. I'm all torso, with a 30" inseam. Beth, conversely, is shorter in the torso but has a 36" inseam!
When we sit side by side, I'm a hair taller. But when she stands up...woa, baby!
She's got legs. As SRV said, "Love my baby, she's long and lean..."
