Telecaster Guitar Forum - View Single Post - I get a great free fireworks show every year

I usually have a fantastic view from my place (I have unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline from my place - and a huge rooftop that we had 200+ people on last year) but this year they are doing the fireworks on the other side of Manhattan - on the Hudson River. Some anniversary of Henry Hudson or something. Why they are celebrating an Englishman on the day America celebrates independence from England is beyond me but what the hell... I'll be at a party on the West Side of Manhattan on a rooftop watching the display with a group of friends, a barbecue and plenty of beer!
