I see you like el84 amps. I am not a fan of them,I prefer 6v6's.
I had webers in my Victorilux so it wasn't the speakers that I didn't like.
My friend tried the Victorilux but ended up liking the Tweed Bandmaster better.
Everybody's idea of good tone is different.
6v6's are sweet and plentiful !
