You can say that again. The Hipshot stringbender comes with a full-scale drawing that you can position over the body and with a sharp pointed object, you can mark points in the wood. The location of the tower does have to be right on. If it's a little up or down, the string won't land in the center of the saddle. I did my own installation last year. I did a quick video of it here.
