I bought the display model black CP JM last nite at GC for $700, after I realized the film was still on the pick guard and that when taken off there would be no marks. I know their Luthier well as he services my other guitars, and also got a free setup with new 10s. I bit the bullet and bought a Fender case. I've been playing semi hollow jazz/blues 55 years through BF amps, never played a JM until last night, and was gassed by tones from pups and electronics, plenty of sustain, and great bass/neck pup tones. Nice neck, butter action, etc.

I picked up a CP Jag for $500 that they took in on trade, probably because the bridge pickup didn't work
It was just a ground wire. That thick poly makes them all look new... I keep hearing the neck is nitro. I'm not sure.
