Yes, evidently so.

I just received an email from this seller, and he included some decent pictures. Not only is the neck not maple, it has 22 frets rather than the 21 of the Texas model. More problems - the sunburst is three color for sure, not the two color of the Texas. The pick-guard has eight screws rather than the Texas' five. The tuners are the not the vintage type of the Texas, but rather those of the standard Highway One. The bridge is a six saddle type, but the seller did mention that it had been changed (original included in the sale) - I didn't see pix of the original to see whether the saddles were brass.

It would seem that the seller has a nice first model Standard Highway One, but not the Texas model. I sent him a polite reply saying so.
