pchilson claims to have built the ultimate guitar in his storage locker. It has 120 necks, 235 pickups, and 20,000 strings. The body was made of nineteen different tonewoods, from Alder to Zebrawood. The pickups took five years to wind. It takes 47 musicians to play it, and three stagehands to support it. This guitar was played only once, in a Hootenanny held at the Grand Canyon on July 4, 2000.
