Ain't no biggie... go to one of the larger Ace hardware stores, they will have the inserts ... about 50 cents each, and the Stainless Steel screws... get the steel insets not the brass or zinc... you will have to cut the 2" screws down to 1 3/4".
buy a couple of extra inserts... drill a hole in a scrap piece of lumber, and run in the inserts... do it a couple of times and you will be on top of the learning curve...
It's so easy even a drummer could do it... hehehe yeah right, but it is easier than solving Fermat's Last Theorem with a bent slide rule.
