We have a Little Martin that has been perfect for sweat, sand, sunblock, small kids and all with some birthday cake and beverage thrown in. I'd have to be called a tone snob with my OM-28V and 00-18 and somebody came up to me at a beach and says the Little Martin was a beautiful sounding guitar.

I also tried some moderately priced Yamahas, the little Taylor and Backpacker. Taylor high pitch tone was better but the Little Martin carried itself better or with more power.

Add treated strings and you're in business for severe service 6 string fun.
