Sorry. I bought them.

They're going into a partscaster I purchased from Subway Guitars in Berkeley CA in the early 90's. Recently pulled it out and realized what a fine guitar it is.

I have this image of the workers at Subway looking around to see what parts were laying there and deciding to make a cool Tele that day.

I think they installed whatever pickups happened to come out of the pickup drawer first. Those CV pickups should be just the sparkly thing to lift the tone of the guitar.

These CV pickups are very impressive in every guitar I've installed them in. So far I've purchased 3 used sets from upgraders.

So you can find them. Just keep your eyes open. I promise I'll stop buying them. (At least that's what I tell myself.
