Funny how price affects perception of a product, and everyone is so suspicious about buying one now that it's been reduced. If it was still $800, no one would be suspicious at all (even though that would still be reasonable for this amp). If it was $2k everyone would say they "were gassing for one but it's out of my price range."
I got mine for $600 about 6 months ago and I thought I was getting a good deal. Wish I would have waited.

Just kidding. I'm no stranger to snatching good deals sight unseen (Gretch Americana's for $29). I'm not familiar with their guitar amps but understand they made great bass amps and heard they have QC issues nowadays. Is it a 5E3? I hear it being compared to the Deluxe. I wonder how much less Vox could be selling their overseas ptp amps for if retailers are backordering them for $299.
