Lap Steel and Tele boogie

I had fun recording one of my favorite steel guitar tunes tonight. This is where my shortcomings as bassist and suitcase drummer are most evident.

Anyway, this a tune Buddy Emmons did with Little Jimmy Dickens called "Buddy's Boogie". It's one of the hottest tunes ever recorded and Buddy played it on a pedal steel in the 50s. I adapted it where I needed.

Clinesmith lap steel, Fender Telecaster Deluxe with miniHB in neck and Fred Stuart Blackguard bridge, Michael Dunn Rhythm Futur guitar, Kay upright bass, American Tourister suitcase drums. Electric guitars played through a Fender Princeton Reverb

Buddy's Boogie

Thanks for listening!
