Oh, yeah!

I bought my first PJ new, tweed with ceramic speaker, as a result of the rave reviews on the old Tele Discussion Page. I got a second one for a backup used, an earlier tweed with a blue frame alnico speaker, and it's my number one PJ.

Now, I saw one that was completely redone by Ace Pepper of ThunderTweak Amps, with a Deluxe Reverb transformer, a hand-wired circuit like a Matchless Spitfire, and a Ragin Cajun speaker. Nice, nice, nice, but not a PJ...heavier and more in-your-face.

I've done NOS tube tweaks with the #1 PJ, and it just sings. I've sold buddies on this little amp, too. A great pick-up-and-go-play amp.
