I just played an old 30's archtop with the same type of neck, probably and inch and a half thick, heavy V, most amazing sounding and playing acoustic I've ever used. Super comfortable and didn't give me any hand fatigue (I played it for about 5 hours) Wanted to buy it but it was a 'family guitar'
