I'm going to agree with Mark about ebay, but respectfully disagree about craig's list. If you're in or near a large city, Craig's list is your
best friend -- you can get a whole lot of guitar for $400 on craig's list in a metropolitan area, especially these days. You don't have to pay retail, and you get to try before you buy.
Dunno what the Ft. Wayne or Indianapolis CL's are like, but maybe worth a shot for you.
OR, folks around here do seem to love those classic vibe telecasters...
