My oh my...It's been so long I forgot where I was at!!?! Now that things have settled down at work I can get back to the building phase! Things I love to do! I have several projects that I need to finish for friends ( who are very patient...thank you!) Before the Broadcaster gets touched! The VENEER neck is done and on my "surfcaster". I switched out a WD purchased neck with this one. The Macasser ebony finger board has an almost "liquid" feel to it. The hardness of the wood is the main contributor to this . I love the look of the veneer over the slab! Here are a few pictures....
Headstock... Jersey Surfcaster has a nice ring to it! (yes.. I am a stripe bass fisherman!) The surf green color is my favorite!
