Remember, you can only get away with this when dealing with bass players. If the guy also plays guitar he's going to catch on and think "ok, he's really giving me a deal here. I know for a fact
normal prices for bass players is $300....at least that's what the last guy I had play bass for me told me when he asked for an advance to get his frets crowned".
For you guys out there that only play bass, that's known as a joke.
