I don't have the one shiny cover Keystone hooked up right now, but the difference between the two is negligible - all about the physical appearance or whether you don't mind saving a couple bux.
I actually have Tele Keystones in non Teles, and a whole passel of Teles in the "Proto-Esquire" stage or wired some different way, also with Keystones. I was just referring to the ones with Keystones and a 4 way switch only ( oh, and there's only 9 like that ). You betcha these pups are great; but don't forget I have way too many guitars and there are just as many without Keystones; all sorts of things. But the Keystone is the pickup I would use if I could have only 1 Telecaster, I think.
