I would take a look at StealthPedal by IK-

It is a high-quality recording interface, comes with some awesome Amp modeling software (AmpliTube 2 Live, AmpliTube Metal), some recording software, and you can actually use it to control your software pedals. That to me is the killer app of the whole thing.
