I had a 94 HD28 & it was great! By now, a guitar of that era has opened up and aged about all its gonna, and should still be new enough to be free of issues (hopefully). Now I play a more recent D28(2008), & I prefer the tightness of the D28 vs the boomy nature of the HD. If you have the duckets I say do it & don't look back! Post pics!
