Yes, the guy did list it as allparts -- and continued to tell me that the guy he bought it from who built it told him it was all parts...there is
no way it is Allparts (the neck heel confirmed this -- it's a Saga). I never heard back from the seller I bought it from -- I'm really quite pissed at that guy. I had no reason to trust him to begin with, but I spoke with him on the phone, and he communicated pretty clearly with me, to the point where I was convinced I could trust him; but it seems this guy was just out to get rid of the guitar and make some money (more than it was worth, I'd wager)...I know this is the kind of thing we all have to watch out for, but I just thought I could trust this guy...got jacked.
On those Saga kits, those are basswood bodies aren't they? Are there really kits out there using
birch?!
Again, I really like the sound of this Tele!! Aaargh. I can't stand this situation...I just want to throw something at that guy I bought it from.
