It's not to terribly shy of a year since this post, but I was just in Strait Music in Austin today and saw the Baden acoustics. I played on a few different A style Badens and they all sounded really good to me, with the differences in wood for back and sides making the normal tonal differences. All three (rosewood, mahogany, and maple) back and sides sounded really good to me. The neck is pretty comfortable. The action could use a little more work, but was playable as is. I'm very interested in getting one now.
Has anyone tried one out lately? They didn't have one with a pickup, so I couldn't plug one in.
