Good point, there do seem to be a lot of live in Japan albums out there, Albert Collins, Cheap Trick, and Bob Dylan come to mind. There could be a spirit there that inspires performers, or maybe just some good recording companies.

Not so good for the great Johnny Guitar Watson, though, as he had a heart attack and died while performing on stage in Yokohama.
