Wow. I had one of those in the late 80s / early 90's. I will say it's a nostalgia trip just to look at it, but I can;t really agree that I liked it that much. Well, I liked it then, but that was before I had any experience with tube amps.

It's my understanding that the clipping in an SS amp (which happens kind of "all at once") will never duplicate that in a Tube amp (which happens over a greater sweep of the volume knob). I could be totally wrong though.

Honestly, I think the digital modeling is where it's at in terms of non tube amps. I've heard people play Line 6 Flextones and make them sound outstanding...
