I bought a Marshall ED-1 yesterday for £19 just to hear how it compares against my Dynacomp and CS-3. I have to say, I prefer it over the other two. The emphasis control is what makes it stand out for me, gets rid of the bottom E muddy compressed sound and sharpens it nicely.
