the recordings that I net are pretty good. I am lukewarm on the interface and use the buttons and menus as little as I have to... it was designed by people who don't understand human interfaces... but, instead of being pissy about it.... I have the the recording part down... when I get home, I connect it to my computer, drag the file over, clear the folders....

and edit away in either quicktime pro, logic or garageband (it is just a wav file)

and I am very happy with that process....

I am very careful with gear and rarely have it break... but the grill on the mic is the stoutest part of this device... the rest is very light plastic....

to its credit... great recordings! long battery life.. accepts normal media for memory...

so, it is worth buying.

I wish I loved it though.
