due respect granted... live with multi tunings and 1 guitar (or banjo) is very annoying to your band mates and audiences ... just sayin. I've finally gotten our banjo/mando/guitaist multi-instrumentalist to organize into 1 tuning per instrument per set ... our audiences are simply not tuning friendly ...
Going for drop D and back to standard - well OK - you can get away with that. But std to DADGAG or sumpin' and back - that I'm waving off, in my setting anyway ... LOL, IMO, YMMV and the other 40 disclaimers ...
