Thanks guys,
Jazztele, would you advise against using an electric as a first guitar/learning tool?
I like the idea of "snooping" in on the lessons so my brother can reinforce it at home (I'll give him one of my guitars, he only has basses).
I can't imagine what the teaching process is for someone so young.
