I've had a tonelab LE for one or two years now. It sounds a lot better with a real tube amp than direct. Direct, the cab sim sounds kindof two-dimensional. However, it does have very good warmth and is quite organic for a modeler. It works great with my tube amp.
As far as reliability is concerned, I have had two foot switches die on me. I ordered some replacements and have soldered them in myself. It wasn't terribly difficult.
