hello. longtime lurker coming out of lurker mode for a while...
I'm ordering a dimarzio twang king neck and sd vintage '54 bridge pups to go into my '62ri. i've got a few questions:
- i'm going for a brighter late 50s to 60s sound for this guitar (in contrast to my '52ri with an antiquity I set), will this pickup combo get me there?
- has anyone had any experience installing dimarzio and duncan pickups on a tele? do i have to swap wires on the twang king to avoid wiring them out of phase in position 2?
